 Museum quality signed and numbered limited edition Giclee prints on Hahnemuhle rag paper, 1 inch borders, deckled edges, archival mounted on contrasting mat board (color selected by the artist), half inch reveal, 3 inch white 4-ply mat. Numbered and signed on bottom edge of print. Includes certificate of authenticity stamp and artist's statement.

Skill & Technique

• Masterful Contrast & Lighting: The highlight striking the bridge of the nose and the upper lip creates a sharp, dramatic contrast against the deep, heavy shadows beneath the brow. This high-contrast lighting brings a powerful three-dimensional volume to the face.
• Textural Richness: The tactile quality of the medium is brilliantly leveraged. The visible grain of the pastel on canvas provides a gritty, skin-like texture, while the smooth, heavy application in the hair, eyebrows, and mustache creates a bold, graphic weight.
• Sophisticated Color Palette: The flesh tones are complex, avoiding flat pinks or browns. The inclusion of vibrant oranges, purples, and deep reds captures the warmth and reflectivity of under-lighting, while the cooler, desaturated tones on the lower left provide a grounding structural balance.
